Azita Youseffi oder kurz Azita bringt acht Jahre nach “Year” und ein Jahr nach der EP “Shooting Birds Out of the Sky” ihr neues Album “Glen Echo” beim Chicagoer Drag City-Label heraus. Im Unterschied zu den meisten ihrer früheren Aufnahmen hat die Künstlerin die Musik diesmal komplett ohne Begleitung weiterer Instrumentalisten eingespielt, ebenfalls neu ist ein deutlicher Schwerpunkt auf Gitarre und eine Abkehr vom Keyboardsound der letzten Alben, was einen stark zu einem Singer-Songwriter-Feeling beiträgt. “Glen Echo” erscheint in allen gängigen Formaten am 5.
