Der Drummer und Perkussionist Teun Verbruggen hat mit Cram Ration ein neues Improvisationsprojekt aus der Taufe gehoben. Zusammen mit den beiden Gitarristen Vitja Pauwels (Bombataz, leap/detach) und Cesar De Sutter-Pinoy (Peenoise, Bardo) entstand diesmal ein selbstbetiteltes Album mit vier ausladenden Stücke, die auf den ersten Eindruck an eine frei improvisierende Jazzband auf der Suche nach dem perfekte Noiserock anmutet, die keine Umwege in ekstatische Funkyness und Roadmovies voll schwüler Twangs scheut. Über lange Passagen tastet sich die Musik zaghaft voran und zögert jede mögliche Eruption heraus, um sie dann doch noch unerwartet stattfinden zu lassen. “Cram Ration” erscheint Ende Mai als CD und DL bei RAT Records.
