Mit “Aftershock Vol. 2″ geht Anfang Oktober die vor anderthalb Jahren gestartete Zusammenarbeit der österreichischen Violinistin und Klangkünstlerin Mia Zabelka und des indischen Acts Icostech in die zweite Runde, diesmal mit dem schwedischen Cellisten Henrik Meierkord als integralem Bestandteil. Mit diversen Saiteninstrumenten (Violine, Cello, Bass, Gitarre), Djembe und diverser Elektronik sowie dem Trompetenspiel des Gastmusikers Joshua Trinidad entstand ein vielseitiges, an Überraschungen reiches Album voll spannungsvoller Dunkelheit, in der die Momente ambienter Sammlung, treibender Rhythmik und noiserockartiger Entgrenzung umso bedeutsamer erscheinen. Es erscheint am 7. Oktober als Tape und CD bei Subcontinental Records.
