Auf knapp über einer Stunde enthält “Radiolara” acht als Zyklus konzipierte Stücke auf der Basis eines Buchla 200-Modulargeräts aus den 70ern, denen zwitschernde, blubbernde, brummende, zirpende Sounds keine Scheu haben, ihre Plastizität in besonderen Momenten in Richtung Lärm und kleine herausfordernde Hochtöner auszuweiten. Das Album erscheint als CD und zum Download.

“Ana Dall’Ara-Majek is a composer and sound artist living in Montréal (Québec). She is interested in the study of how instrumental, electroacoustic and computational-thinking approaches interact in musical composition. Her studies took place between France (with Christine Groult, José Manuel López López, and Philippe Leroux) and Québec (with Robert Normandeau and Pierre Michaud). In 2016, she obtained a doctorate in composition from the Université de Montréal, where she also taught a number of courses in the digital music section.” (empreintes DIGITALes)
