Subcontinental Records, die das Album als Tape herausbringen, betonen den spontanen Charakter der musikalischen  Begegnung: “One afternoon in July 2022 at Slate Room Studio in the small Scottish town of Pencaitland.

Two musicians. Saxophone and effected guitar. No plan. No discussion. No edits. No overdubs. Just play! The resulting album of ten freely improvised pieces are presented in the order in which they were recorded and form a spellbinding narrative arc with the two musicians empathically responding and willfully disrupting, as they seek and discover meaning and beauty from chaos and chance”.
