House of Mythology und das mit David Tibet zusammen betriebene Label HoMAleph haben eine digitale Compilation zusammengestellt, deren Erlös der Arbeit des roten Kreuzes in der Ukraine zukommt. Vertreten sind 22 Tracks von Künstlerinnen und Künstlern des Labels, einige davon sind in den vorliegenden Versionen bislang unveröffentlicht. Die Compilation ist über Bandcamp erhältlich.

Nature Unveiled: Klassiker von Current 93 auf Tape

David Tibet und Timothy Mark Lewis von House of Mythology bringen auf ihrem gemeinsamen HomAleph-Label “Nature Unveiled” auf Tape neu heraus. Das Album erschien 1984 auf L.A.Y.L.A.H. Antirecords als erster Longplayer von Current 93. Es ist eines der repräsentativen Alben der Frühwerks und enthielt in der Originalfassung mit “Ach Golgotha (Maldoror Is Dead)” und “The Mystical Body Of Christ in Chorazin (The Great In The Small)” zwei der bekanntesten der dunklen, sakral angehauchten und zum Teil noisigen Soundkollagen, die die erste Phase von Tibets Projekt charakterisieren. Die Tracklist ist identisch mit der CD-Version, die 1992 auf Durtro erschin und enthält die zusammen mit “Nature Unveiled” erschienene Split-7″ mit Nurse With Wound, die drei Stücke der “LAShTAL” -EP sowie die beiden “Maldoror”-Live-Tracks aus Amsterdam. Das Tape erscheint zunächst 333mal am 1. Dezember.

“This release will be the first time Nature Unveiled has been available on cassette since 1986. Our first edition of 333 copies comes housed in a solid red case with a clear front with transparent dark red, professionally-manufactured, cassettes plus a full-colour two-sided j-card, one side of which reproduces the original insert from the 1984 vinyl release. The cassette is then inserted into a manilla O-card which is HandStamped with a C93 logo. The cassette features all the tracks that were on the expanded 1992 Durtro CD edition, and has been ecsaticallyremastered for cassette by The Bricoleur / Bladud Flies!.” (David Tibet / HomAleph)
