Als Headliner tritt das 2020 gegründete italienische Quartett Bosco Sacro auf, an welchem mit Paolo Monti (The Star Pillow, DAIMON), Giulia Parin Zecchin (Julinko), Luca Scotti (Tristan da Cunha) und Francesco Vara (Tristan da Cunha, Altaj) keine Unbekannten beteiligt sind. “Inspired by visions of sublime, reconciling vastness coming from the contact with nature and landscapes, united by a genuine devoutness to the practice of music as an healing, liberating movement, their style features dreamy atmospheres, slowed-down rhythms and an intense sonic and spiritual depth. Their musical roots come basically from ambient, doom and trip-hop”. Ihr Debütalbum “Gem” erschien vor einigen Wochen bei Avantgarde Music. Ebenfalls zu sehen ist das rau dröhnende kanadische Soundart-Duo Houses of Worship, bestehend aus Eric Quach (thisquietarmy) und Jim Demos (Hellenica). Zwei Alben erschienen bereits bei Somewherecold und Midira Records, zudem der Film “Migration”, der ein im inneren eines Transporters gespieltes Konzert in Montreal dokumentiert. Midira beschreiben ihren Stil als  “smooth experimental tracks, featuring electronic soundscapes and guitar drones, melting together into something that could be described as post-Fripp-Eno drones”. Der dritte Act ist das 2014 Berliner Echtzeitmusik-Duo Pro-Vocation, zu dem es heißt: Led by Rosi Förster and Lena Wenta, the group is known for their ability to closely listen to each other and meld experimentalsounds into a cohesive and harmonic package. The main instruments of the ensemble are vocals and soprano clarinet, wrapped in a gown of electronics, seducing the audience with abstractions of klezmer, slavic, oriental, hindustani, freejazz and western classial music.
Founded in 2014, Pro-Vocation has been a trailblazer in the music community, challenging ageism fanaticism with Rosi Förster, a musician in her 80s and active already since before the fall of the Berlin Wall”.

Die Auftritte wurden zum Ausgangspunkt der Filmdoku “TQAXHLNKA: MIGRATION”, die den Exodus vieler Künstler aus der Metropole als Folge der fortschreitenden Gentrifizierung und letztlich auch der Pandemie zum Thema hatte. Das Album ist als deren Soundtrack zu verstehen. “With the current struggles linked to the pandemic restrictions, we have seen the acceleration of the gentrification process in neighborhoods where the heart of these activities takes place”, heißt es seitens der Musiker. “As a result, a multitude of venues, studios and artistic spaces – places used for exchanging ideas with our peers and building communities meant to inspire and nurture our souls had to shut down.” Das Album erscheint auf CD und zum Download bei Midira Records.
