Der Score basiert primär auf Streichern und Elektronik und knüpft auch an die vor zwei Jahren

veröffentlichte “Symphony No. 2 / Highlander” an. Beim Label heißt es: “The tracks are shorter than on his previous compositions, but Mother Departs still has the same distinctive Eastern European atmosphere. Tomasz Sroczynski’s work is modern, as in his previous symphonies, thanks in particular to his ability to merge acoustic instruments with electronica”.
