Die aus Richmond, Virginia, stammende Amber Bouchard, die ihr Soundartprojekt Velmuh nennt, hat mit harmonischem Gesang, Samples, Field Recordings und mit zahlreichen Effekten bearbeiteten Sounds akustischer und elektronischen Ursprungs etwas geschafften, das vom Label als neue Art der Americana bezeichnet wurde und das viele musikgeschichtliche Traditionen anklingen lässt.
