“My second solo album, ‘BREATH. PLAY.’, is an attempt to explore and pass one through voice art emotional states and how they exist in the body”, heißt es von der Künstlerin. “Voice and breathing are closely connected with both the body and the feeling. Last year many new things started to happen in my life that made me feel in new and unexpected ways. It made me curious, and I decided to use these emotional sensations in my artistic practice. I spent long periods in the recording studio balancing my voice improvisations to how I was feeling on different days. With these recording sessions I created lengthy soundscapes that I later sliced up and rearranged into these strange little compositions”. Das Album ist auch digital erhältlich.

Vom Label heißt es: “Like the time range suggests this album is retrospective in its nature. Although the recordings were made many years apart from each other they display similarity in their mood. It is one of the moods that eleOnora has been developing in her work over the years – an idea of a statically flowing, slowly morphing, minimalistic voice holding space for the listeners”. Gleichwohl die Künstlerin bereits seit Jahren im Alleingang improvisiert und aufnimmt, trat sie bisslang v.a. als Teil verschiedener kollaborativer Projekte mit anderen Avantgarde-Acts in Erscheinung, so das zusammen mit Lost Harbours betriebene Geräuschmusik-Duo Road to Saturn, das audiovisuelle Synthie-Experimentalprojekt Tencu/eleOnora und das nicht weniger experimentierfreudige bluesinspirierte Projekt Rhinghold. “Tuuljamuud” ist ihr erstes Solo-Release und erscheint auf 35 Tonbändern bei Cruel Nature, die digitale Version enthält ferner kurze Exzerpte.
