“Torsten G. Mauss, born in New York, based in Düsseldorf Germany, is an architect, designer and musician, never built any buildings but lots of sound layers: after releases with his early electronic band project Tonetraeger (together with Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka), and under his (electro) moniker Twig or even his participation at Thomas Klein’s Sølyst, he composed several film scores. „TG Mauss“ is his very personal solo project – a constant travel through pop music’s cosmos – releasing on Brussels ́ label Quatermass/ SubRosa or Berlin’s Karaoke Kalk Records. Nowadays TG Mauss exchanged all his synthesizers and samplers with guitars, pedals, loopers and even more loopers for an always improvised layering approach to music.
Valerie Renay is a French-Caribbean performer, director, electronic chanteuse, musician, vocal coach, painter, DJ, and healer known for her distinctive flavour of Art Pop Noir and eclectic collaborations. She is based in Berlin since 2006 Valerie’s debut solo album Your Own Shadow co-produced by Alexander Paulick-Thiel (Kreidler) was released end of 2018. Thilo Schölpen studied piano at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten. Beside his activity with the piano he composes and produces music and appears as an experimental musician and conceptual artist with concerts and installations. His music is inspired by Beatnik, Film Noir, Free Jazz, Fluxus, New Wave, Avantgarde. In addition to the piano, he uses electronics, electroacoustics and objects such as wire, tape, stones or drain pipes to implement his music”. (Trestle Records)
