Die in Beirut lebende Sängerin und Musikerin Sandy Chamoun bringt eine Song-Trilogie heraus, die sich mit den Protesten gegen Korruption und einer ausbeuterischen Finanzpolitik auseinandersetzt, dich seit dem 17. Oktober im Libanon stattfanden. Lärmende Detonationen, poetische Texte in kraftvollen Klagegesängen, traditionelle Instrumente und Soundmitschnitte der Proteste prägen die Musik, deren Mix Khyam Allami besorgte. Der erste Teil der digital erhältlichen Reihe, “Dreams of the Imagination” (arabisch: أحلام الخيال ) ist nun über Chamouns Bandcamp und andere Plattformen erhältlich, das Artwork stammt von Bassem Saad.
