Der norwegische Akkordeonist Kalle Moberg bringt nach “Unheard-Of” den zweiten Teil seiner Tokyo Sessions heraus. Nach dem in Jim O’Rourkes Studio in einem Zug und komplett solo aufgenommenen Erstling folgt nun mit “Twist” eine Live-Aufnahme, bei der Moberg von Marty Holoubek (Bass) and Joe Talia (Drums/Percussion) und Tatsuhisa Yamamoto (ebenfalls Drums) begleitet wurde. Die Aufnahme besorgte erneut O’Rourke. Durch die üppigere Instrumentierung tritt das vielleicht primär dem Akkordeon geschuldete Echo von Chanson und verwandten Musikgenres und deren Überblendung mit Jazz und freier Improvisation noch deutlicher zutage. Das Album erscheint am 19. März und somit ziemlich genau ein Jahr nach dem Vorgänger als CD und Download bei Momergs eingenem Label.
