Das sich um einen festen Kern gruppierende experimentelle Folk-Kollektiv United Bible Studies bringt dieser Tage seinen neuen One Track-Release “Twenty Voices” heraus und feiert damit sein zwanzigjähriges Bestehen. Neben der Kernbesetzung aus Alison O’Donnell, David Colohan, Dominic Cooper, James Rider und Graeme Lockett wirken diesmal u.a. Sharron Kraus, Amy Cutler, Grey Malkin, Alan Davidson und The Spermaceti Organ mit – Gäste, die größtenteils schon die eine oder andere Rolle im Kosmos der Iren gespielt haben. “Twenty Voices” erscheint digital.

“To celebrate 20 years as a collective, we played an audio game of Exquisite Corpse, with 20 participants, (band regulars, friends and collaborators). This being the year of 2021, each participant made 21 secs of audio that then overlapped to the next with another 21 secs. As per the game, each person only heard the musical piece immediately preceding theirs. We were honoured to get these great artists, be sure to check them out.” (United Bible Studies)
