Robin Storey bringt den sechsten Teil seiner Compilation-Reihe “Seeds in the Tide” heraus. Die Sammlungen decken eine große Bandbreite an Tracks ab, die seit Bestehen des Rapoon-Projektes meist auf Samplern oder kleineren Veröffentlichungen erschienen sind und sind folglich musikalisch einigermaßen heterogen: Ambienttracks treffen auf weltmusikalisch eingefärbte Ritualstücke und auf rhythmische Nummern von tanzbarer Qualität ebenso wie auf experimentelle, z.T. rauere Soundscapes. Der aktuelle Teil deckt den Zeitraum Mitte des vorigen Jahrzehnts ab, neben Tracks von diversen EPs und Compilations sind auch Live-Aufnahmen aus dem Zeitraum enthalten. “Seeds in the Tide Volume 06″ erscheint als Doppel-CD und digital bei Zoharum.

“4 years have passed since the publication of the previous part of “Seeds in the Tide vol. 5″. So it’s high time to release the next volume in a compilation series containing rare Rapoon tracks scattered across a variety of smaller releases and compilations. The sixth part contains recordings from the years 2013-2016, mainly from the 7th EPs “Moon and Cups Quarter 1-4″, “Calling the Rain” and several compositions prepared for the purposes of variety compilations, appearing in the same period of time.” (Zoharum)
