MFZ Records bringen Ende des Monats den neuen digitalen Longplayer “Slaps Combo” von Giancarlo Trimarchi aka The Diish heraus. Über acht Tracks und eine Spieldauer einer Dreiviertelstunde entfaltet sich ein spannungsvolles Narrativ zwischen kraftvollem Ambienttechno und vom Kopf auf die Füße gestellter Clubmusik.

“These compositions are the result of specific sequential structures which were created in a condition of rather intimate, domestic stillness”, so der in Sizilien lebende Musiker über seine Arbeit. “In terms of emotions, it oscillates between the contrasting, but complementary, notions of loss and birth. It is a tribute to these primaeval human feelings I moulded into what I like to think of as experimental and techno-ambient musical characters”.
