Die in Schweden lebende Sängerin und Songwriterin Daniella Binyamin bringt dieser Tage ihre zweite digitale Single heraus. “Toothpaste Kisses” folgt auf die zu Beginn des Jahres veröffentlichte Single “Grand Hotel”, schaltet aber mit seinen intrikaten Pianoparts und der sanften Streicher-Begleitung ein paar Gänge herunter und präsentiert ihre Musik so von ihrer wehmütig berührenden Seite. Daniella Binyamin, die ihre Jugend sowohl in Schweden als auch an verschiedenen orten des Nahen Ostens verbrachte und beides als kulturelle Einflüsse verbucht, hat in der Vergangenheit v.a. als Komponistin und Backing-Vokalistin für Musiker wie Lukas Graham, Zara Larsson und Robin Schulz von sich reden gemacht. Ihren eigener Stil wird von ihrem Distributor Aloaded mit Sängerinnen wie Feist oder Regina Spector verglichen. Ihr Debütalbum soll kommenden Winter erscheinen.
