Auf Montage Noir erscheint dieser Tage eine Interpretation zweier Stücke aus dem späteren Werk von Eliane Radigue. Ein längeres Stück – “Occam Hepta 1″ wurde vom Dedalus Ensemble mit Gitarre, Streichern und Bläsern interpretiert. Ein weiteres – “Occam XX”, ein Stück für analogen Synthesizer – wurde von der mit dem Werk Radigues ebenfalls vertrauten Musikerin Ryoko Akama eingespielt. Das Release ist das dritte Album des Dedalus Ensembles und erscheint auf CD und zum Download.

“In Eliane Radigue’s work, we oppose electronic works (composed until the early 2000s) to those written for acoustic instruments. From 2002, the artist began a series of compositions, Occam, orally transmitted living music. In her own words, she fully realized what she had always sought to accomplish in her electronic works. The disc dedicated to her brings together 2 pieces that were written at the same period. One for an instrumental ensemble (Dedalus) and the other for analog synthesizer (Ryoko Akama).
