In den kommenden tagen erscheint ein neues Album des von Pavel Dombrowski ins Leben gerufenen Drone- und Ambient-Projektes Uhushuhu, es ist das zweite Release dieses Acts auf Zoharum Records. Für “Zvirat”, dessen fünf meist längere, hypnotische Kompositionen unter dem Eindruck einer Reise durch Kasachstan entstanden sind, hat Dombrowski die Künstlerin Lilia Akivenson ins Boot geholt, die neben dem Artwork Synthesizerparts beisteuerte, die mit den meist akustischen Instrumenten und Field Recordings des Hauptakteurs eine gelungene Symbiose eingehen. Auf diese Weise entstand eines

der gelungensten und eindringlichsten Ambientalben des Jahres. “The material was recorded in Kazakhstan and in this form is something like a diary from a long journey into the unknown, like a record of emotions, experiences and thoughts illustrated using sound, which is the most universal language that musicians use to convey their narrative to listeners”, heißt es beim Label. “A deep, reflective and meditative album, not only for fans of ambient music, but also for people sensitive to the subtle, ethereal and ascetic in its form, music flowing from the depths of the soul”.
