Der auch als Toningenieur bekannte Cellist und Komponist Sébastien Guérive bringt dieser Tage ein neues Album unter dem oxymoronthischen Titel “Obscure Clarity” heraus, das elektroakustische Klangtexturen, intime Pianoparts und einiges mehr zu neuklassischen Ambientlandschaften von spannungsvoller Cinematik verknüpft. Die Titel der einzelnen, meist eher kompakten Stücke, bei denen Guérive von Grégoire Vaillant und Romain Pangaud unterstützt wurde, lassen auf Inspirationen aus dem hindu-buddhistische Kulturraum schließen.
