Ende des Monats erscheint die das erste gemeinsame Album des Duos Olomuhd, dessen Bandname sich aus den Bestandteilen Olo und Muhd zusammensetz, die auch Soloprojekte der beiden Teilnehmer Samuel Vaney und Loïc Grobety zurückgehen. “The Absurd Silence Of A Mute World” ist ein vielschichtiges One Track-Album von einer Dreiviertelstunde Länge, dessen raue, infernalische und doch in vielen Pasagen ambient-gleitende Struktur schwer zu kategorisieren ist. 
Beim Label Cyclic Law heißt es: “Sharing a common passion for abrasive textures, deconstructed rhythms, enveloping and dense layers, this album, presented as a single track, is a distinct entity, an ageless and lush exploration, at times contemplative and airy, at times impetuous and massive. It is the result of a thoughtful yet instinctive composition process.” Bereichert wurde das Album auch durch diverse Gastbeiträge, die in der Textur der Musik ihre Spur hinterlassen haben. Das wären zum einen “Michael Anklin, who left his mark with a sensitivity that matches his virtuosity, imprinting his haunting rhythmic textures to beautiful effect”. Zum anderen dann “two guest vocalists, Hemlock Smith & Mütterlein, two strong personalities each with their own universe who managed to seize the protean beast, giving it a primal and emotionally striking imprint”. Das Album erscheint am 29. März und ist auch digital erhältlich, am 27. des Monats findet eine virtuelle Listening Party statt, alles dazu findet sich auf der unten verlinkten Bandcampseite.
