Die norwegische Saxophonistin und Producerin Amalie Dahl, bekannt aus zahlreichen Konstellationen, bringt Anfang April ein Album mit ihrem Dafnie-Ensemble heraus, bestehend aus Oscar Andreas Haug (Trompete), Jørgen Bjelkerud (Posaune), Nicolas Leirtrø (Kontrabass), Veslemøy Narvesen (Drums, Percussion, Säge) und der für Sax und Elektronik zuständigen Gründerin. Einmal mehr verfeinern die fünf Musikerinnen und Musiker auf “Står Op Med Solen” ihren eigenen Stil. Beim Label Aguirre heißt es: “We hear influences from both old school free jazz, and contemporary Scandinavian jazz like Fire! Orchestra and Christian Wallumrød Ensemble, as well as clear connection to the Trondheim milieu, where the group was founded in 2020. 
The energetic and expressive band explores their more subtle side with this record. Står op med solen is an album longing for humans to be one with nature. The music questions the world’s ultra-capitalistic power structures of today where everything has to move forward and be productive all the time. The band navigates like one organism through parts of organic free jazz, strict structures and composed cells.” Das Album erscheint in Kooperation mit Sonic Transmissions als LP, CD und Download mit Artwork von Jeroen Wille. In einigen Wochen geht Amalie Dahl’s Dafnie auf Tour durch sieben europäische Länder, bei der auch Termine in Berlin und Villach auf dem Programm stehen:
