“Kate de Rosset is an artist and musician who began sharing music in 2016. As a live member of Cemeteries, in her former project Pat Moon, and now as her given name. After releasing her first studio album, For the Small Bird, she moved to her hometown in North Carolina and has been creating a studio in her attic. It’s become a safe space for her to rediscover what she loves most. The start of a new chapter. It Will Burn, her fifth full length album (performed, recorded and mixed by Kate herself at Owl Ridge), will be released this fall via Berlin-based label La Double Vie.
The first single from It Will Burn, the gorgeously transcendent Silver Screen, is, in part, inspired by the idea that in death we watch back on our lives as if it were a movie. What do you wanna see?” (La Double Vie)
