Am 5. Dezember erscheint mit “The Vertical Luminous” das neue Album des britischen Klangkündtlers F.Ampism über Hive Mind Records. Das Werk eröffnet eine vielschichtige Klangwelt aus Synthesizer-Experimenten, verspielten Flötenmotiven, Field Recordings und collageartigen Strukturen, die zwischen Musique Concrète, Free Jazz und elektronischer Abstraktion changieren. Dabei verschwimmen die Grenzen zwischen organischen und künstlichen Klängen, alles scheint in Bewegung und zugleich voneiner subtilen Intensität getragen.

Vom Label heißt es: “A dayglo collection of synth experiments, found sounds and musique concrète sound collage, The Vertical Luminous blurs all lines between the organic and the electronic, each piece shimmers with a sense of wide-eyed curiosity and lightness, tying the album together into a bubbling, serene gift to the world. F.Ampism, hinter dem der in Brighton lebende Musiker und Künstler Paul Wilson steht, ist unter anderem Teil der Projekte Kaloja, Yayoba und Bolide, das Artwork zu “The Vertical Luminous” stammt von seinem Yayoba-Kollegen Johannes Schebler (Baldruin).
