Am 12. Dezember erscheint das neue Album “Soon Means Now” der Band ükya bei Nakama Records. Das Trio – bestehend aus Emil Bø an der Posaune, Kristian Enkerud Lien an der Gitarre und Michael Lee Sørenmo am Schlagzeug – knüpft dabei an die Arbeit seines Debüts an und vertieft die Überblendung zeitgenössischer Musik mit improvisatorischen Strukturen. “Soon Means Now”, das erneut Kunstmusik, Minimalismus, Improvisation und ein beeindruckendes Gespür für Stimmungen zeigt, betont das Zusammenspiel von konzeptioneller Grundausrichtung und einer spontanen Unmittelbarkeit.
