Roman Rofalski bringt in Kürze über Oscillations eine neue CD heraus, die neben der jüngsten EP “Fractal” ein neues Minialbum unter dem Titelv”Awaiting PM” enthält. “Awaiting PM” besticht, wie es sinngemäß beim Label heißt, durch eine poetische Verschmelzung von Klavier und Maschine, was in zum Teil unruhigen Rhythmen resultiert. “Fractal” setzte seinerzeit das Klavierspektrum in einen dunklen, digitalen Kontext, wobei prepared-piano-Aufnahmen mit elektronischen Elementen und perkussiven Akzenten in einer düsteren Klangwelt zusammengeführt werden. “Awaiting PM / Fractal” erscheint als CD und zum Download.

Constantly looking for new frontiers he is experimenting with various styles, aiming to remove the artificial boundaries that have been established between Classical Music and improvised Modern Jazz. With his jazz-trio he has released three albums so far featuring original compositions and arrangements of classical works, especially those of the early 20th century.
