Die im Tokio lebende Multiinstrumentalistin Yuko Araki bringt Anfang April ihr drittes Album “End of Trilogy” heraus, das ihre aktuelle Schaffensphase, die vor zwei Jahren mit “I” begann und mit “II” fortgesetzt wurde, zum Abschluss bringt. Kurz und knapp wird die Musikerin, die in ihrer Jugend Klavier spielte und später über Metal und Hardcore subkulturelle Ausdrucksweisen kennenlernte, mit Noise assoziiert, was vordergründig zutrifft und gemessen an jahrzehntelangen Standards doch eine Vereinfachung ist, da auf
Sound- und Kompositionsebene zahreiche Elemente von Jazz und Psychedelic bis Ambient und technoide Ansätze integriert werden. Das Label spircht deshalb von einer Neudefinierung der Außengrenzen des Noise, des Post Industrial Techno und der experimentellen Elektronik. “End of Trilogy” wurde von Lawrence English gemastert, auf dessen Room40-Label das Album digital und auf CD erscheint. “End Of Trilogy pushes this approach outward, taking in almost Kosmiche sensibilities, creating a sound that glints with the unsteady radiation of a dissolving pulsar. 
The album is an offering of competing states of tension and release. It merges polychromatic pulses against waves of sheering noise and uneasy ruptures of sound. End Of Trilogy is a record of unpredictable momentum and tempered ferocity. Even at its most intense. Yuko Araki’s work maintains a sense of playfulness, and a determination not to succumb to mere sonic nihilism.
