Ankündigung: Viereinhalb Jahre nach “Fire Returns to Heaven” bringen die amerikanischen Outsiderfolker Kinit Her ein opulentes neues Album heraus. “The Nature Out There” ist bereits das fünfzehnte Album der Band um Troy Schafer und Nathaniel Ritter und präsentiert die Gruppe – auch und v.a. was die Bandbreite ihrer stilistischen, kompositorischen und instrumentellen Qualitäten betrifft – auf dem Höhepunkt ihrer Kreativität. Eine aufwühlende Unruhe durchzieht über weite Passagen die stimmungsvollen Gitarren, die jauchzenden Streicher, die galoppierenden Drums und den exaltierten, manchmal mehrstimmigen Gesang und tritt in einen reizvollen Dialog mit der gleichsam vorhandenen Besinnlichkeit. Letztere findet sich v.a. in den an mittelalterliche Musik erinnernden Passagen, die auch auf eine Folkplatte der 70er gepasst hätten, während an vielen anderen Stellen die Geister des Post Punk und noch räudigerer Einflüsse um die Ecke schielen.
