Das aus San Francisco stammende Quartett Amber Asylum präsentiert am Valentinstag 2025 bei Prophecy Productions ihr zehntes Album mit dem Titel “Ruby Red”. Die Veröffentlichung erscheint auf schwarzem und rotem Vinyl, als CD sowie als Download. Mit “Ruby Red” setzen Amber Asylum auf eine eindringliche Mischung aus Klagegesängen, introspektiven Balladen und kraftvollem Songwriting, das in eine Welt aus Schmerz, Vergänglichkeit und gleichsam Energie entführt, es verbindet neoklassische Elemente mit druckvollem Bass und Percussion, während Streicher und weibliche Stimmen eine fragile Schönheit und Tiefe entstehen lassen. Amber Asylum, 1990 von der Komponistin und Multiinstrumentalistin Kris Force gegründet, schaffen laut Begleittext mit “Ruby Red” eine dunkle und zugleich hoffnungsvolle Klanglandschaft, die den Schrecken und die Zuversicht unserer Zeit einfängt.
