Als das zwanzigminütige “La Langosta” letzten Winter erstmals auf Vinyl veröffentlicht wurde, mochte man zuerst gar nicht glauben, dass es sich bei dem Stück um den ersten Song handelt, den Mueran Humanos je aufgenommen hatten. Es passte in seinem heruntergefahrenen Tempo und seiner traumwandlerischen Versunkenheit perfekt zu “El Círculo”, dem ebenfalls eine ganze 12”-Seite füllenden zweiten Song der EP. Vielleicht liegt in dem psychedelischen Subtext ja eine Konstante, die sich durch Carmens und Tomás’ bisheriges Werk zieht, auch wenn man das bei den Auftritten, die meist von vitaler Aggression geprägt sind, nicht so deutlich spürt. Jüngst haben die beiden Kurzfilmerinnen Natja Failde und Linfa Ologramma, die als Duo auch unter dem Namen Trino in Erschenung treten, einen farbenprächtigen Clip dazu gedreht:
“Filmed in Berlin and Buenos Aires by Trino Productions, it marks the debut work of this duo formed by Natja Failde and Linfa Ologramma, two young girls from Buenos Aires. They aproached us with a challenge: to make a video clip of our twenty minutes song “La Langosta” in all its lenght. We trusted them and we are very happy with the results. La Langosta was our first piece of music to include vocals and also our first (digital) single, back in 2007, and it was the key that made the transition from the abstrac noise and installation music that we made in the period 2006/2007 to the music that we did ever since. It was released first as a digital single in 2007, then it was included as a bonus track on the CD version of our debut LP in 2011 by Old Europa Café, then the English label Vanity Case Records approached us to put it out in vinyl so we recorded “El Círculo” and made a 12″ inch wich was published in 2013. This is our first song and it refuses to be left behind.”
