Als Stone Breath nach einer längeren Pause 2009 „The Shepherdess And The Bone-White Bird“ veröffentlichten, lag dem Album eine CD mit dem Titel „Virgo, Mater, Domina“ bei, die dem scheinbar anonymen Projekt Forest Beggars zugeschrieben war. Beim Hören des Albums wurde einem dann schnell klar, dass es sich bei den Beteiligten um die Stone Breath-Besetzung (Timothy Renner, Prydwyn, Sarada) handeln musste.
“The purpose for this was to create more explicitly Catholic devotional music while keeping Stone Breath a bit more secular. We decided to make Forest Beggars anonymous. Even though, if you are familiar with the playing and voices, you might know who is making the music – that’s not the point. We aren’t trying to hide, or to be mysterious. We just wanted Forest Beggars to be about the music, the lyrics, the art, etc – and not to be about our individual personalities et al.”, schreibt Timothy Renner auf seiner Facebookseite.
Pläne für weitere Aufnahmen zerschlugen sich damals und erst jetzt erscheint die erste neue Forest Beggars-Veröffentlichung namens „Let My Heart Be Burned“ mit sechs neuen Stücken als auf 30 Exemplare limitierte Lathe-Cut und als CD sowie Download. Ein neues Album ist für 2024 geplant.
