Gut fünf Jahre nach seinem gemeinsam mit Yoshi Wada und anderen aufgenommenen Longplayer “Nue” erscheint in den kommenden Tagen ein neues Album des in LA lebenden japanischen Musikers und Komponisten Tashi Wada. “What Is Not Strange?” ist ein stilistisch vielfältiges Werk, das eine Viezahl ungewöhnlicher Ideen zusammenbringt und gewinnt auch in dieser Hinsicht durch seine kollaborative Ausrichtung. Beteiligt sind renommierte Gäste wie Julia Holter (Gesang), Corey Fogel (Percussion), Ezra Buchla (Violine) und David Hoff (Bass). Das Album erscheint am 7.
