Nachdem jüngst noch das neue Album von Spires That In The Sunset Rise veröffentlicht worden war, kommt im Januar ein auf 225 Exemplare limitertes Tape von Ka Baird, auf RVNG heraus, auf dem die Stücke auf Klavier, Gesang und Elektronik basieren. Die aus fünf Teilen bestehenden Aufnahmen orientieren sich konzeptionell an einem Auftritt, den Ka Baird 2018 im Brooklyn Theater hatte. Die Performances Ka Bairds der letzten Jahre waren oftmals geprägt von einer extremen physischen Präsenz, von einem scheinbaren Verschmelzen von Körper und Instrument und auch über den Auftritt in Brooklyn heißt es, dort sei es um ein Zusammengehen des „physical and visceral, though the musical, provocative sounds this time exorcised from both her body and the piano’s“ gegangen.
