Cruel Nature veröffentlichen in den kommenden Tagen ein neues Tape (respektive Download) ihres Stammkünstlers Score. “Temporary Arrangement” enthält sieben “dub-infused, cosmic” Tracks, die eine ganze Reihe an eher preiswerten gebrauchten Instrumenten der 80er und 90er Jahre – Gitarren, Bass, Mixer, Effektgeräte und v.a. ein Casio-Kinderkeyboard zur Basis haben. “The album aims to bridge gaps between different eras, youth and adulthood, and naivety and experience”, heißt es beim Label.

Chris explains that he had access to similar basic equipment in the nineties, but couldn’t achieve the desired sound. With ‘Temporary Arrangement,’ he revisits that era, recording the instruments in a multitrack overdub style without modern audio manipulation. The result is the album he would have created back then, combining nostalgia with newfound knowledge and skills. Despite being written and recorded in just two months, the project represents a 25-year journey.”
