“Sea Urchin is an art and music project by the Italian Francesco Cavaliere and the Egyptian-Austrian Leila Hassan. Their Music is a journey into an inaccessible cosmos, an exploration of the unfathomable depths of the sea. It modulates sine waves, tapes and electro-acoustic devices, and turns fluorescent minerals, mirrors, objects and materials into projections that are constantly changing and sustaining their foggy dub n’ poetry unique style.
Felicity Mangan is a sound artist and composer who, in different situations such as solo performance, collaborative projects with other musicians, or installation, plays her found native Australian animal archive and field recordings, either through a stereophonic system or often via hand-made speakers made from recycled or displaced objects. Felicity currently also plays in Native Instrument (Shelter Press) with Stine Janvin Joh and Plants and Animalia with Christina Ertl-Shirley and recently released Stereo’frogilic on Longform Editions.”
