Hiro Kone mit ihrem vierten Longplayer bei Dais Records

Zwei Jahre nach ihrem letzten offiziellen Studioalbum “A Fossile Begins To Bray” und ein Jahr nach ihrer Zusammenarbeit mit Little Annie veröffentlicht Nicky Mao alias Hiro Kone Ende September ein neues Album. Das Werk mit dem Titel “Silvercoat the Throng” präsentiert eine dunkle, bisweilen geheimnisvoll-verwunschene Spielart ihrer experimentellen, technoiden Elektronik und enthält Gastbeiträge am Mikro von Travis (ONA), Speaker Music und Muqata’a. Diese Kollaborationen “further expand the album’s lyrical, liminal palette, meshing elements of experimental techno, spoken word, neo-classical, and industrial noise into a fluid, encrypted dialect all its own”, heißt es beim Label, ferner: “Mao speaks of creative strategies of solidification and reification, encounter and transformation, pure being and punctuation – a multitude of sparks, fuses, and forking paths leading across fresh thresholds and twilit terrain. Taken as a whole, Silvercoat captures Hiro Kone at the peak of their powers, alchemizing disruption and decomposition into regenerative interior worlds.” “Silvercoat the Throng” erscheint in drei unterschiedlichen Vinyl-Editionen und digital bei ihrem Stammlabel Dais Records.
