Die britischen Industrial- und Ambient-Veteranen O Yuki Conjugate bringen in Kürze eine Vinyl-Edition ihres Klassikers “Equator” heraus, der 1995 auf CD bei Staalplaat veröffentlicht wurde. Für “Equator”, bei dem die beiden Gründer Roger Horberry und Andrew Hulme von Malcolm McGeorge, Dan Mudford und Pete Woodhead unterstützt wurden, verwendeten die Musiker neben Synthies, Vocals und Marimbaphon eine Menge an ungewöhnlichen, z.T. auf zweckentfremdeten Objekten basierenden Instrumenten meist perkussiver Natur, hinzu kamen koloritreiche Samples aus Vietnam und Marokko zum Einsatz. Das Album erscheint Ende August bei Aguirre Records.
