Die belgischen Kaboom Karavan, die ihren Sound als zeitgenössische Exotica oder “Folk music from another dimension” bezeichnen, bringen am 21. Juni ein neues Album bei Miasmah Recordings heraus. “Fiasko!”, das dem Label zufolge wie das Werk eines Wahnsinnigen mit zu viel Zeit klingt, basiert auf dem Einsatz einer Vielzahl an Instrumenten, von denen einige selbst gebaut und somit auf den ganz eigenen Sound des Quartetts – Bram Bosteels (Vocals, Gitarre, Elektronik u.a.), Bart Maris (Trompete, Tuba und Posaune), Stefaan Smagghe (Violine und Sarangi), Raphael de Cock (Igir, Jadagan und Uillean Pipes) – gemünzt sind. Das Album ist auch digital erhältlich.
