Die beiden Soundartists Loren Chasse (US) und Juho Toivonen (Fin) bringen eine gemeinsame Arbeit heraus. Das einen aufgespitteten Track umfassende Tape “Aclod” enthält Material aus Umgebungsgeräuschen, die die beiden in Coyote Wall, Washington und Pori, Finnland aufgenommen und zu einer “impliziten Landschaft” kombiniert haben, die keinen der beiden Orte repräsentiert. Inkludiert werden Instrumentalbeiträge auf Synties, Gongs, Gitarre, Metallophonen und einigem mehr. Das Album erscheint über Hive Mind und ist auch digital erhältlich.

“Toivonen and Chasse began working together in 2021 after Toivonen reissued Chasse`s seminal field-recording based album “Synthesis Of Neglected Places” on his label Akti. Working on the reissue, the artists noticed that they shared a similar interest towards the microscopic details of sound and that they both actively listened and immersed themselved in the everyday sonic experience of their surroundings. One thing soon led to another and they realized that they had created a new 30-minute piece, Aclod”. (U.S.)
