Mark Wilson alias Conure spielt Ende September ein ambientes Noise-Set beim eXperimontag des Berliner Madame Claude. Ebenfalls zu sehen ist an das spanisch-argentinische Impro-Noise-Kollektiv Mordrake.
“mordrake is an assembly of noise integrated by adria juan, óliver vinent cardona, txe roimeser, albert tarrats and santiago doljanin, in which all its members send audio signal to a set of mixing tables that is fed back with the “no imput mixing” technique. Each time we improvise we seek to develop new combinations of connections, sound effects and build our own electronic and mechanical instruments. Mark Wilson (also of 15 Degrees Below Zero) has been creating ambient noise and other varieties of sound art under the moniker Conure since May of 2000. He currently utilizes various microphones, effects pedals, loops, field recordings, and mixer as his main set of tools to create sounds that range from minimal drones to heavily layered walls of feedback and cacophony”.
