Kein halbes Jahr nach ihrem stark limitierten und außerhalb Australiens schwer erhältlichen Debüt “Dream #12″ bringen das in Melbourne und Brisbane beheimatete Schrägpop-Duo Mess Esque nun ihr zweites, diesmal selbstbetiteltes Album über Drag City heraus. Mess Esque bstehen aus der Sängerin Helen Franzmann alias McKisko und dem v.a. von Dirty Three her bekannten Multiinstrumentalisten Mick Turner, der hier tatsächlich mit Gitarre, Bass, Drums, Orgel u.a. tatsächlich alle Instrumente beisteuert. Das Album erscheint Ende Oktober in allen gängigen Formaten.
