Jim O’Rourke und Ryoji Ikeda haben Aufnahmen, die François J. Bonnet (Groupe De Recherches Musicales, Kassel Jaeger) und Stephen O’Malley vor anderthalb Jahren auf einer Tour durch die Schweiz mitgeschnitten haben, zu zwei atmosphärischen, jeweils knapp zwanzigminütigen Tracks ausgearbeitet. Das Material knüpft an das gemeisame Studioalbum der beiden (“Cylene”, Editions Mego 2019) an. Die LP erscheint Mitte Mai erneut bei Mego, die digitale Version ist bereits erhältlich. Für Kataloge und Datenbanken mag relevant sein, dass SOMA sich hier Stephen F. O’Malley nennt.
